Professional Singers Showcase

Cheri sang a musical theater cabaret with the theme of "People" on Sunday, April 19th at Stevie's Creole Cafe as part of A&E Production's Professional Singers Showcase. Selections included: "People," "The Girl in 14G," "Stars and the Moon," "On My Own," and "I Love a Piano." Audience members enjoyed a delicious Cajun meal and entertainment by Cheri and three other wonderful performers.

La Mirada Symphony
POPS Concert

Cheri shared an afternoon and evening of music with an audience of over 2,000 in La Mirada as a featured soloist for the annual Pops Concert. Cheri sang the amazingly fun song, "The Girl in 14G." Baritone Cale Olson stepped in last minute when the other singer became ill shortly before the concert. They sang medleys from West Side Story, Porgy and Bess, and Fiddler on the Roof. Cheri and Cale, a great singing team, charmed the audience and met with great success!

John Harbison's "Mirabai Songs," Puccini's "Quando M'en vo," "O mio babbino caro," and "The Laughing Song/ Mein Herr Marquis" by Johann Strauss were received with enthusiasm during this enjoyable and ecclectic classical program performed by Cheri.
